Benchmarking Surveys
AHAP surveys its members each quarter. These surveys are on different topics related to the many challenges accreditation professionals face, such as complying with various Joint Commission standards and National Patient Safety Goals. After the information is gathered, AHAP members receive a report summarizing the results. The first of these benchmarking surveys was the 2007 Survey Coordinator Salary Survey, which AHAP will continue to conduct each year.
Winter, 2010: 2010 Survey Coordinator Salary Survey
This special report includes results from AHAP’s 2010 Survey Coordinator Salary Survey. In it you’ll find a summary of this year’s statistics, as well as salary data broken out for each region of the country, location type (urban, suburban, or rural), and bed size.
Fall, 2009: Quality and process improvement
This report polls members on the topics of Lean Six Sigma and ISO standards, as well as relevent training.
Summer, 2009: Joint Commission Stroke Certification
This report surveys members on their experiences with Joint Commission Stroke Certification--current status, challenging RFIs, structure of stroke center core teams, and more.
February 2009: Infection Control
This benchmarking report looks at current trends, concerns, and challenges in the area of infection control, including MRSA detection and prevention, tracking MDROs, and educating staff to infection control requirements.
November 2008: Survey coordinator salary survey
This special report includes results from AHAP’s 2008 survey coordinator salary survey. In it you’ll find a summary of this year’s statistics, as well as data for each survey question. This is the fifth of our quarterly benchmarking surveys for AHAP members only.

In it you'll find a summary of this year's statistics, as well as salary data for each region of the country, location type (urban, suburban, or rural), and bed size. The survey was limited to AHAP members whose organizations are located in the United States and whose primary responsibilities include managing their organizations' Joint Commission survey preparation. This is the first of our quarterly benchmarking surveys for AHAP members only. We hope this special report will serve as a useful benchmarking tool for you and your organization.
